Risk Disclosure

Last updated: June 2026

General

This Risk Disclosure Statement describes material risks associated with the algorithmic spot trading strategies operated by Stratwise (“Stratwise”, “we”, “us”) on managed sub-accounts. It does not describe every risk. Before engaging Stratwise, you should carefully consider whether such an engagement is suitable for you in light of your financial condition, objectives and experience.

Nothing on this website or in any Stratwise material constitutes investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy or sell any digital asset or to employ any specific trading strategy.

Market risk of digital assets

Digital assets are highly volatile. Prices can change dramatically within short periods, and an investor may lose a substantial portion of the value of the assets allocated to a strategy. While Stratwise strategies trade spot only and do not use leverage — meaning a position cannot be liquidated or margin-called — the market value of accumulated assets can decline significantly, and drawdowns may exceed targeted ranges.

Past performance

Past performance, whether live or backtested, does not guarantee future results. Performance figures published on this website are realized live trading results for the periods indicated, are specific to particular assets, market regimes and risk settings, and may not be repeated. Target return and drawdown ranges are estimates, not commitments or guarantees.

Strategy and model risk

Stratwise strategies are fully systematic and rely on quantitative models, including machine-learning components. Models may behave unexpectedly in market conditions that differ from those observed historically. Forecasts of volatility, market regimes or price squeezes may be wrong. A strategy may underperform a simple buy-and-hold position in the same asset.

Operational and technology risk

Trading depends on the continuous operation of exchange infrastructure, network connectivity and Stratwise systems. Exchange outages, API failures, order-routing errors or software defects could delay or prevent order placement and adversely affect results.

Stratwise operates via trade-only API keys: we cannot withdraw or transfer your funds. Custody of the assets remains with you at your exchange. You bear the counterparty risk of the exchange you select, including insolvency, hacking or withdrawal restrictions imposed by that exchange.

Regulatory and tax risk

The regulatory treatment of digital assets varies by jurisdiction and may change. You are solely responsible for determining the legality and tax consequences of engaging Stratwise in your jurisdiction and for complying with all applicable laws.

No guarantee; acceptance of risk

By engaging Stratwise you acknowledge that you understand the risks described above, that you can bear the loss of the capital allocated, and that you alone are responsible for the decision to participate. If you do not fully understand these risks, you should seek independent professional advice before proceeding.
